I just moved into this area, thought trying out the spa since it’s walking distance. Went in with only backache and did inform the masseur to emphasis on my back but instead she kept pressing my shoulder! She is super inexperience and never hit the pressure points, just keep pressing on my bones, End up left with a sore shoulder and backache! Moreover poor services till I felt that this place is offering more “services”. I was hoping and really hope to have better experience so that I can come here often, super disappointed.

The staff are friendly and nice. However, the quality of their massage is poor. The masseurs didn’t hit the right spot during the massage, the movements felt rushed throughout hence the experience did not feel relaxing.
I went in with some tensions around my neck and shoulders in hope to loosen up the tightness in my muscles but left feeling even worse.

Just moved into the area and decided to give this place a try today. It’s small and has a cram toilet. The counter is near to this washing area which doesn’t look tidy.

I go for massages quite often, so I pretty much have an idea on how a good one should feel like. We chose the 90-min massage option. I think I was unlucky, the masseur assigned to me was so bad:

    1. She kept pressing on the same shoulder blade area for a good 30 – 45 mins. My back muscles are so painful and sore now. I asked her why she kept pressing on the same area, she said something about “tired veins”? But really, she was at it for too long, and I figured she probably had no idea what she was doing.
    2. While lying on my back, she’d use just 1 hand to do the job – it felt like her other hand was busy with something else. I thought she needed to move the massage oil or something. When I finally faced up, I opened my eyes a little and saw her on her phone with one hand, and the other massaging my leg.
    3. She made me sit up, tried to ‘crack’ my back but failed – you know, like Thai Massge. She then asked another massuer to enter the room to assist me with cracking my back and neck. Imagine my horror when this confirmed my suspicion of her not being well-trained. I mean, all these while the shop actually allows someone so inexperienced to attend to customers? I could totally tell the 2nd massuer was so much more experienced than the one I was assigned to; 2nd masseur was actually assigned to my husband, so he had a better experience than I did.

All in all, the attention to details weren’t there:
    – the cleanliness wasn’t up to standard
    – they made us wait for about 10-15min in the room after asking us to change into disposable clothing. My husband even came out of the male room to let them know we were ready
    – the masseur knocked on my left arm multiple times when trying to switch sides
    – despite asking for full body massge, several parts were neglected: hands, forearm, feet, shin area, upper thigh, tummy area. It felt like she was trying the Thai style massge but it didn’t feel quite right – I go for Thai massage every other month.
    – the door has this see-through hole that wasn’t covered while I was changing; and after the masseur was “done”, she went out to get help from the 2nd messeur to “crack” me – she switched on the lights and opened the door so widely, I wasn’t dressed! 😑

My relaxing massage turned out to be me fearing she’d injure my muscles or accidentally break my bones. She’s a nice lady nonetheless but no to using of phone while servicing customers.

Really a bad experience for me. We won’t go back.
